Join the Committee

Any parent, carer or grandparent of a child attending the Pre-School or Out of School Club can become a committee member.  All support is welcome. 

Our History

St. Leonards Playgroup was first established in May 1974 in the Church Hall of St. Leonards Church, Catworth. By the early 1980’s it became apparent that a more suitable venue was required.

After much fundraising by parents, a mobile classroom was purchased and sited on a strip of land, given by the church, adjacent to Brington School. In 1997, the now named, St. Leonards Pre-School, following tremendous work from parents and trustees, was awarded £168,052 by the National Lotteries and charities Board to be used for the construction of a permanent building. The land was purchased and the Pre-School now operates in a tailor-made premises.
